This large-scale renovation in Milton, NSW is set on picturesque acreage and transforms an existing dwelling into a highly considered and comfortable contemporary home.

A key objective of the project was not only to enhance the home aesthetically, but to significantly improve its overall thermal performance, ensuring year-round comfort. This was achieved through comprehensive upgrades including re-insulation of walls, ceilings, and floors, the removal of the existing windows, and the installation of new double-glazed, thermally broken glazing systems, complemented by carefully designed shading devices.

In collaboration with Jess Hunter Interiors, who led the interior design and selections, the home has been reimagined with a cohesive and refined material palette. The result is a residence that balances comfort, performance, and visual impact—delivering a thoughtfully resolved design that responds beautifully to its rural setting.
