Burrawang

This project involved a complete renovation of a character home within a designated conservation area in Burrawang, requiring a careful balance between heritage sensitivity and modern functionality.

The design approach focused on preserving and enhancing the home’s original charm while introducing thoughtful updates to improve liveability. Every element was considered to ensure the renovation remained sympathetic to the surrounding streetscape and architectural character of the area.

Internally, the home was reconfigured to create a more functional layout, improving flow and usability for contemporary living. Finishes and fixtures were selected to complement the home’s heritage features, seamlessly blending old and new.

The result is a refined and cohesive renovation that respects its historical context while delivering a comfortable, functional home suited to modern lifestyles.
